Cheryl Brass holds a Master of Music Education degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. She holds state teaching certifications in NY, IL, & NJ and has taught public and private school music K-12. For the past eight years, she has taught preschool music, four of which have been teaching Montessori Music. She is a private violin and viola teacher and has studied and taught the Suzuki method. Both Maria Montessori and Dr. Shinichi Suzuki believed in the strong triangular relationship between the student, parent, and teacher. Ms. Cheryl was also a proud Montessori parent.
